Description
Dry Chemical Fire Suppression System
The Ardent Dry Chemical Fire Suppression System is designed specifically for off-road mobile equipment operating in harsh environments. It provides effective fire protection to a wide variety of machines from mining trucks, wheeled loaders and excavators to telehandlers and forklift trucks.
Numerous mechanical and environmental tests of the system and its components ensure compliance to various Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications and regulatory requirements.
The system has been developed primarily for use in combination with the Ardent Wet Chemical system to form a Twin Agent system, which provides the highest level of fire protection. The Twin Agent system has been tested and certified to SPCR 199 – Fire suppression systems in engine compartments of heavy vehicles
- Effective in Class A, B, C and electrical fires – The Dry Chemical agent works by creating a flame retardant film over the fire hazard to inhibit and suppress the fire.
- Excellent coverage, rapid fire knocks down capabilities and effective in 3D fires (spraying hydraulic oils, fuels, etc.).
- High MAP (monoammonium phosphate) content, making it one of the highest-graded dry agents in the market.
- Used in combination with the Ardent Wet Chemical system to form a Twin Agent system.
- Used in conjunction with the Ardent VCM control Module for a fully electronically monitored system.
- Low cost of ownership – easy maintenance and recharge.
- 10 years lifespan.
- Independently tested by a UKAS approved testing facility to resist the shock and vibration common in off-road environments.
- SPCR 199 certified (RISE Research Institutes of Sweden) as a Twin Agent system.
